It involves using actual copper to color the aluminum while isolating the copper in the coating. An anodized coating bonds to the aluminum surface to improve wear and corrosion resistance. The anodic layer is three times harder than the aluminum itself and provides a natural abrasion resistance not found in copper brass and stainless steel. Anodized aluminum arrives clean and ready for immediate fabrication.

We do not use pigments but metals to obtain the copper colour. Anodized aluminum is beautiful and decorative. This process makes the copper color very stable and consistent compared to other copper anodize finishes. Clear and black finishes are also known as decorative anodize.
