I have never really been around any cnc machines.

This is part 1 of a diy cnc plasma table build. When i build i tend to look at the whole project and i identify the problems that will limit the build and then i build around that. All parts are cut from 3mm 1 8 mild steel plate all the solidworks files are on grabcad please have a look. So with the plasma cutter i wanted a 4ft x 4ft cutting area and the problem is a gantry needs room at the front and back and left to right so i knew the base would need.

Also note that cutting out parts like this would be a perfect job for a plasma table or laser or waterjet. I also included the bill of materials table that includes the purchase items which is good to know. Free plans router table thanks but help. I have my own fab shop and am very interested in building a cnc plasma table i want to have capabilities to cut 5 x 10 sheets i m sure it will take some time as i have a lot to learn.

A typical cnc router table will have relatively limited z travels so it will be more for parts cut from sheet materials like a plasma table. The frame for the cnc plasma table is built but not without a few problems along the way. I do not supply kits for these. They are not perfectly completed but there is enough information in the layout and detail dimensions to finish this machine.
